Family Trip To Melaka 2010

When I was a kid, me and my family always travelled to Singapore and Thailand. I still remember when we travelled to Thailand, it was always by bus. The bus ride is always late at night. We will sleep in the bus and when the bus stop for toilet break, my mom will wake us up in the middle of the night to use the toilet. After that we will stop by the burger stall to buy burgers. I miss those days.

Now we are all grown up, living our own lives. It has been ages since we went on a family trip.

One day, my sis and I decided to travel down to Melaka to take pictures, since it was a long weekend. So we decided to make this our family trip and asked everyone if they wanted to come along. Everyone agreed. I was so excited because this time round, we have an additional family member, my hubby. :D

When I was in Melaka, I was amazed. There were so many people with DSLRs. Almost everyone has one. Melaka has a lot of nice old architectures. It is a place that photographers would love to take pictures of. Me and my sis were happily snapping away. Even though the weather was extremely hot on that day. But we didn't mind. What surprised me the most was my younger bro, who cant stand heat, didn't complain at all. I am proud of him.

When we reached Melaka, we stopped by Tzu Chi, Melaka. My mom really wanted to visit that place. When we were there, I noticed that my parents were enjoying themselves, especially my dad.

Then we went to the famous, Jonker Street. It was a shame that we couldn't eat in Nancy's Restaurant. I miss the belacan there. Instead, we had chicken rice which does not taste good at all. Thank god for the yummy cendol, that made my hubby happier.

It is important to me to spend time with my family. I only see them once a week. So to me, this trip was important and I appreciate every moment we had in Melaka.
