Gadgets, gadgets, gadgets

This month is gadget month. First, I changed my Blackberry to Iphone. No, not the Iphone 4 but the 3Gs. Why did I change it? Well, I was using Iphone (2G) before this. Then I decided to change to BB but regretted it. Iphone has got more functions. Although I might not use all the apps that is available but what I enjoy the most is the photography. I can take pictures with the phone and then touch up the pics on photoshop. Then I go to Frame Wiz and put nice frames to the touched up pictures. It is fun!!! I cant do that with my BB. This is one of the samples.

Why did I say this month is a gadget month? My sis, Niki finally bought her new gadget. No, not the dog but an Imac. Oooohhh.. I am soooo jealous. :D.

Then yesterday me and Niki went birthday present shopping and bought my elder bro, Casey an Addidas watch. What is great about the watch is it has stopwatch function which is what my bro needed for his muay thai class.

All pictures were taken from my Iphone and the frames are from Frame Wiz apps.

Girls Just Want To Have Fun

My sis, Niki is into handmade a dolls and she has created 4 beautiful dolls. You can check the dolls out in one of my postings 'Handmade Dolls'. Oh and my sister sells the dolls too!

Today it is about Fiesty Brenda, a younger sister to one of the rocker chick doll named Brenda. Unlike the sister Brenda, Fiesty Brenda is a fashionista. Since she is all about fashion, my sis and I decided to bring her window shopping in non other than Pavillion and Starhill where you can find all stylish fashion designer brands there. This is Fiesty Brenda's first shopping trip and she had a blast.

Girls love window shopping, it makes us happy although we might not be able to afford the Gucci bag or Fendi shoes, but by looking at it, it puts a smile on our face.

Family Trip To Melaka 2010

When I was a kid, me and my family always travelled to Singapore and Thailand. I still remember when we travelled to Thailand, it was always by bus. The bus ride is always late at night. We will sleep in the bus and when the bus stop for toilet break, my mom will wake us up in the middle of the night to use the toilet. After that we will stop by the burger stall to buy burgers. I miss those days.

Now we are all grown up, living our own lives. It has been ages since we went on a family trip.

One day, my sis and I decided to travel down to Melaka to take pictures, since it was a long weekend. So we decided to make this our family trip and asked everyone if they wanted to come along. Everyone agreed. I was so excited because this time round, we have an additional family member, my hubby. :D

When I was in Melaka, I was amazed. There were so many people with DSLRs. Almost everyone has one. Melaka has a lot of nice old architectures. It is a place that photographers would love to take pictures of. Me and my sis were happily snapping away. Even though the weather was extremely hot on that day. But we didn't mind. What surprised me the most was my younger bro, who cant stand heat, didn't complain at all. I am proud of him.

When we reached Melaka, we stopped by Tzu Chi, Melaka. My mom really wanted to visit that place. When we were there, I noticed that my parents were enjoying themselves, especially my dad.

Then we went to the famous, Jonker Street. It was a shame that we couldn't eat in Nancy's Restaurant. I miss the belacan there. Instead, we had chicken rice which does not taste good at all. Thank god for the yummy cendol, that made my hubby happier.

It is important to me to spend time with my family. I only see them once a week. So to me, this trip was important and I appreciate every moment we had in Melaka.
