Cuties

My family have 6 very adorable pets, 4 rabbits and 2 dogs. But unfortunately, 3 of my rabbits passed away. My dog, Shiver grew up with the rabbits. They hang out together and share food too!!! Too cute.

Last 2 weeks I went out with my younger brother, sis and mom to Berjaya Times Square. We were there to see my elder brother, Casey perform. He took part in 'Jacky Cheung and Sammi Cheng Singing Competition 2010'. Didnt know my brother can sing that well. Hehe.. He did a great job.

I am proud of my brother. He has the courage to go up on to the stage and sing his heart out when there are like hundred pair of eyes looking at him. I dont think I would be able to do it.

The Fantabulous 4

The fantabulous 4

Everyone has their confidante and close friends. For me I have 3 fantabulous friends whom I love very much. We do silly things together and used to party like crazy. There was once we even drove all the way to Penang just to party and drove all the way back to KL in the middle of the night. Those were the good old days. Young, brave and carefree.

We said to each other that we have to make it a point to go for a girls trip every year. One of my close friend is working and living in Melbourne. Whenever she comes back, we plan for a short road trip. This year during CNY, we went to Bukit Tinggi. We had loads of fun there and we brought along our kai chai, Mason.

To me good friends are hard to come along. Most of my other friends are in their separate ways. As we grow, our lifestyle changes. Although me and my 3 girlfriends live a seperate life, (2 of us are married and one with a kid, one working hard all the time and another one in Melbourne) I am grateful that we are still very close to each other. Hazel, Ailee and Cathryn you guys are the best.

Bali 2010

Beginning of the year, I went on a family trip with my hubby and his family to Bali. I had so much fun. From the day we arrived, we shopped till the last day.

We stayed in a beautiful villa called Casa Evaliza in Seminyak. We had the whole villa to ourselves. There was a butler, Kartika who is a very good host. A very good cook, Mustika and a very patient and friendly driver, Putu.

In Ubud, we bought 3 paintings. I have to say that my hubby is not the easiest and fastest shopper. Putu was very patient with us. We literally walked the whole of Ubud looking for paintings.

On the third day, my family and I went surfing. Never in my life I would thought of going surfing. We took surfing lessons. The best part was I didnt want to do it but when I was there, my hubby persuaded me to try. Thank god I did. It was sooo much fun.

In Bali, there are many nice architectures. With my new found hobby, I took tons of pictures with my Olympus e-520. I particularly like the statues. It is so beautifully crafted. This is the statue that I really like and I must say I like the angle of this picture as well.

One night we decided to go to the most expensive restaurant/lounge area in Seminyak, Ku De Ta. Although we didnt eat there, we had a couple of drinks and watched the sunset.

It was a good trip and a very nice long break. Once in awhile, its nice to take a break from work and get out of the country. If I do go back to Bali, I will definitely go surfing again.

Newbie

This is my first blog. Yes, blogs has been around for a very looong time. But for some reason, I never thought of having one. I always thought you need to have something to blog about, like your hobbies or events of your life. I guess my life is just boring. Hehe...

Well, I realized that I do have something to blog about now. I have taken up a new hobby which is photography. Still very new to photography. There are a lot of things that I need to learn especially on photo retouching.

Last year I bought a DSLR, Olympus e-520. It has built-in image stabilizer on the body itself (which is what sold me). It comes with a standard kit lens 14-42mm F3.5-5.6. The pictures that is taken during the day with this camera is nice but not for night though.

Mostly I like to take pictures of my pets and family. I will upload some pictures that I took from my Olympus in another post soon.
